ZINA
ZINA (Fornication) is a major sin. It incurs the wrath and anger of Allah Ta’ala.
In a country governed by Shariah law, if an unmarried person is convicted of zina, he/she will be punished hundred lashes. If he/she is a married person, he/she will be stoned to death.
When a person commits zina, the essense of Imaan leaves his heart. Rasullullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam said
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم ( لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن ولا يشرب الخمر حين يشرب وهو مؤمن ولا يسرق حين يسرق وهو مؤمن ولا ينتهب نهبة يرفع الناس إليه فيها أبصارهم حين ينتهبها وهو مؤمن … صحيح البخاري (2/ 875)
Translation: Narrated by Abu Huraira Radhi Allahu Anhu that the Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “When an adulterer commits illegal sexual intercourse, then he is not a believer at the time he is doing it; and when somebody drinks an alcoholic drink, then he is not believer at the time of drinking, and when a thief steals, he is not a believer at the time when he is stealing; and when a robber robs and the people look at him, then he is not a believer at the time of doing it.” (Saheeh al-Bukhari)
SADNESS
The best of cures for sadness is to know that one cannot bring back what he has missed and that by being sad, one is just adding a misfortune to an already existing misfortune thus making it two misfortunes.
