Islamicupdatehub: EATING FRUIT ON EMPTY STOMACH

Eating Fruit on Empty Stomach

This will open your eyes ! Read to the end; and then, pass it on.

Dr Stephen Mak treats terminal ill cancer patients by an "un-orthodox" way and many patients recovered.

Before he used solar energy to clear the illnesses of his patients, he believes on natural healing in the body against illnesses. See his article below.

It is one of the strategies to heal cancer. As of late, my success rate in curing cancer is about 80%.

Cancer patients shouldn't die. The cure for cancer is already found - *its in the way we eat fruits.*

It is whether you believe it or not.

I am sorry for the hundreds of cancer patients who die under the conventional treatments.

EATING FRUIT

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths.

It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat the fruits.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS!
5
FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

If you eat fruits on empty stomach, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

_FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD._

Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit.

The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so due to the bread taken before the fruit.

In the meantime the whole meal of bread & fruit rots and ferments and turns to acid.

The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals !

You have heard people complaining :

Every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc.. etc..

Actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on _an empty stomach._

The fruit mixes with the putrefying of other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat !

Greying hair, balding, nervous outburst and dark circles under the eyes all these will Not happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter.

If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the  SECRET of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only  fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans, packs or bottles.

Don't even drink juice that has been heated up.

Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all.

You only get its taste.
Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice.

If you should drink the fresh fruit juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse or detoxify your body.

Just eat fruits and drink fresh fruit juice throughout the 3 days.

And you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look !

Drinking COLD water or drinks after a meal = CANCER

Can you believe this ?

For those who like to drink cold water or cold drinks, this article is applicable to you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold water or cold drinks after a meal.

However, the cold water or drinks will solidify the oily stuff that you have just eaten.

It will slow down the digestion.

Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.

It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into FATS and lead to CANCER !

_It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal._

Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

A cardiologist says:
if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

So lets do it.

The Bible says in Revelation 22:18, 19 that nothing Is to be added to It. In view of this, how can a believer in the Bible accept the Qur'an?

The Christian scholar William Barclay in his commentary on Revelation quotes another Christian scholar R.H. Charles as saying that the above mentioned passage in Revelation "may not be part of the original book at all" (Revised 1976, volume 2, p. 232). After mentioning the reasons for this, Barclay agrees with Charles by saying:
It is, therefore, by no means impossible that these words are not the words of John but of a later scribe anxious that none should alter the book in the days to come (vol.2, p.232).

But even if that passage is genuine, it does not prohibit a believer from believing also in the Qur'an. Many people misunderstand the passage if they are unaware of the history of the Bible and how it came to be written. They assume that because the book entitled Revelation is the last book in the Bible it must have been the last book from God, and that every later book should be rejected. However, according to many Bible Commentaries such an understanding is wrong. The Abingdon Bible Commentary explains as follows:

The fact that the words happen to come at the end of the English Bible has led sonic to suppose that they applied to the whole Bible itself. This, of course, is not so. As a matter of fact, several New Testament books were written after Revelation (The Abingdon Bible Commentary, 1929, p. 1 398).
As the above quote explains, the book entitled Revelation cannot be the last book from God. The Bible itself contains some books which were written after the book entitled Revelation.

The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, shows that four books in the Bible were written after Revelation (Revised edition 1984, p.1 547). Similarly, Asimov's Guide to the Bible shows that Revelation was not the last book of the Bible to be written (vol.2, p.567).

Another book entitled Key)? to the Bible claims that the last book of the Bible was 2 Peter (see vol 3, p. 152). Yet another Christian scholar points out that at least six books in the Bible were written after Revelation (see Reading the New Testament by Pheme Perkins, 1988, pp.2-8). Clearly, then, the passage does not prohibit its believers from accepting later messages from God. In spite of that passage, believers were still able to believe in other books which they included in the Bible.

Every seeker of truth must examine the Qur'an too to see if it really is from God. One who examines the Qur'an will find the following:

1. Fourteen hundred years later, all opponents of the Qur'an have failed to produce a book like the Qur'an. The Qur'an rightly said that they can never do it (see our answer to Question 15).

2. The Qur'an speaks about the future, then the future unfolds exactly the way the Qur'an said it would.

3. The Qur'an describes aspects of history unknown to its contemporaries and confirmed by independent studies (see Question #6).

4. The Qur'an makes statements which no human being could make without knowledge of modern sciences, or prior to the invention of the microscope

Islamicupdatehub: A Thousand Camels During The Life Of Seyyidina Umar

In the times of Umar (Radiallahu Anhu) there was a severe famine. All the people of Madinah were suffering due to the shortage of food. A caravan made up of a thousand camels loaded with a large stock of food grains belonging to Uthman (Radiallahu Anhu) arrived from Shaam (Syria). Several merchants offered to buy all of it. He asked them what profit they would pay. "Five per cent," they said. He answered that he could get higher profit than that. They began to argue with him, saying that they did not know of any merchant who would offer him more than their quote. He said to them, "I know of one who repays a profit of more than seven hundred to a dirham (Arabian currency)." He then recited the verse of the Noble Quran in which Allah Ta'ala mentioned this profit. "The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to whom He pleases. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower." (2:261).

"O traders! Bear witness with me that I donate all this to the poor people of Madinah!" said Uthman (Radiallahu Anhu).

Dear readers, what ever we give for the sake of Allah is really ours and whatever we keep with us will one day be someone else's. Let us follow the footsteps of our Prophet and the pious Sahabah, with whom Allah was pleased with, by helping the needy ones in this blessed month of Ramadan and every time of our life.

Islamicupdatehub: Reason: A NIGHT ENJOYMENT... ...A RUINED HEREAFTER.

Abu Ja'far Al 'Asqalaaniy.
Episode Three.
"As Salaamu 'Alaykum ma." Saalihah greets as she meets the same woman she saw during their excursion to Ibadan buying some fruits by the road side.
" Wa 'Alaykumus Salaam my daughter." The woman replies concentrating on the bunches of banana she's buying.
"Did she just mention my daughter? Maybe she can recognise me but she's not really looking at my side. Let me wait till she's through." She thinks.
She rests her back against a jeep waiting for the woman to pay the grocer before approaching her.
"She's even coming towards me, oh my God! She's really my mother, Alhamdulillah." Saalihah continues thinking as the lady approaches her with a smiling face.
"But she's not using Niqab (veil) like my stepmother, not even khimãr (a garment that covers the body from the head to toe.) Look at the short hijab (head cover) they she's wearing. Well, she's still a muslim and she's as pretty as she was during her youth." Saalihah can't stop thinking.
"My daughter, please I'll have to reverse the jeep." The lady says, extending her hand for a handshake.
"Ummiy,do you recognise me?"
"I can't and I'm not even your mum, I don't know you my dear." She coos.
"It's me Saalihah, daughter of imran your husband." She expresses.
Concentrating better, she asks "Did you just mention Imran? Do you mean Imrãn Adebayo?" She offers her a seat in the jeep.
"Yes ma,Alhamdulillah for meeting you again." She remarks.
The lady embraces her warmly "Alhamdulillah, so you're my Saalihah. So at last we've met. Alhamdulillahir Rabbil 'Aalameen."
"Ummiy, what really happened? Why did you leave me at infancy. She inquires gently.
"My dear,I'm sorry. I left your father because of poverty for a rich politician. Though I loved your father but my mum pestered me to go for a wealthy man and I obeyed." She explains apologetically.
"Ok ma,but can you now return since dad is now rich." She murmurs hiding her frowned face.
Stretching out a piece of paper to her "please write your home address here,I'll visit you very soon In shaa Allah."
Saalihah writes the address very quickly as if the paper is flying away then she returns it happily.
"But Abiy told me that you were dead. Why that wrong information." She expresses her thought loudly.
"I think he gave you that impression so that you may not grow up hating your mother."
Saalihah steps out to leave but her mother gives her a handshake and thrusts some naira notes in her palm.
"Saalihah! As Salaah!" The voice of her friend Habeebah wakes her from the pleasing dream.
"Subhaanallah! So I've been dreaming." She exclaims out of surprise.
"Haa Saalihah the dreamer. Yes you've been dreaming." Habeebah makes jest of her.
"Ummiy, please come back to me." Saalihah sobs.
"Mummy's pet,get up joor. The girls are outside and the Tahajud period will soon be over. So let's join them fast." Habeebah yells as she drags her up.
"Does it mean I've been discussing all the while with a dead one?" She wonders ignoring her friend.
"Saalihah, don't worry we'll chat about that later. Let's get going dear."
Rising from the lower bunk, she yawns covering her mouth with her right hand.
"Remember to say your Dhikr." Habeebah reminds her as they join the girls.
"Oh! *Alhamdulillahil ladhiy 'ãfãniy fee jasadiy wa radda 'alaya rūhee wa ’adhina lee bi dhikrih*." She invokes.
The girls clean their mouths with the brushes and head towards the masjid for Tahajud (midnight prayers). They observe it individually according to the strength of each person. The school has programmed 4:00am to 4:45am for the students to observe their tahajud daily.
After Tahajud they take their baths and return to the masjid by 5:40am for Salaatus Subh. The Salaah is started by 5:50am enabling the students to observe two rak'ats supererogatory prayers commonly called Rak'atayn fajr while the correct pronunciation is Rak'atal Fajr.
On the completion of the adhkaar after fajr (dawn) Salaah, Habeebah enquires about Saalihah's dream.
"I've forgotten about her long ago,but seeing that woman during the excursion brought her memory back to me and I couldn't forget since then. More so, I'm becoming confused, I don't believe she's dead."
"Let's inform Miss Adegbite for she's a good adviser." Habeebah advises as they go to prepare for school.
"As salaam 'Alaykum ma." The girls greet their House-Mistress Miss Adegbite.
"Wa 'Alaykumus Salaam, the Head-Girl and her health counterpart." She returns the greeting, hailing them.
It is recess so the two friends decide to meet the mistress in her office.
"How may I help you my girls?" She inquires after exchanging pleasantries.
"Please ma,we'll like you to advise us on a disturbing issue." Habeebah responds for Saalihah.
"Hen hen,no problem, go on I'm all ears."
"My confusion now is that if she's alive, how do I find her? Saalihah expresses after narrating the incidents to her.
"My dear, this is a simple issue so don't complicate matters." Miss Adegbite places her hands on the table.
"Hmmm..." Saalihah sighs.
"You should first understand that in Islam, the dead can never return to this earth. They're in another world called Barzakh which is between this life and the hereafter. The souls are either enjoying or facing punishment. Islam is alien to all idolatrous beliefs among which is incarnation. As Muslims we don't believe the dead ones return as human beings that the Yorubas call *Akudaaya*. You may have heard cases of *Akudaaya*,know that it's only the handiwork of the jinns.
"The jinns are creatures of Allah given a lot of power among which is transforming to any form of animal especially snakes and cats. They are also capable of changing to human beings. They see us while we can't see them with our naked eyes except with the help of demonic powers.
"It is authentically established that every son of Ãdam ('Alayhis salaam) has a jinn attached to him called Qareen. And among the features of jinn is that they live much longer than us. Therefore after the death of a person the Qareen of such person if he doesn't really take care of his duties to Allah when alive may transform to human being in his picture and live the lifestyle of a man or woman as the case may be especially in another town but will later die.
"There are beliefs also that bad souls are sent back to this world for punishment in the form of animals or other objects like plants or even stones. This belief contradicts our own belief as Muslims." Miss Adegbite explains.
"But she said in the dream that she didn't die rather she divorced my father..." Saalihah tries to argue but the mistress cuts her short.
"My dear, she told you that in the dream right? Where is the money she gave you in the dream?" Miss Adegbite probes rhetorically.
"Dreams shouldn't be so much believed. Believe what your father told you and forget about the dream. Prophet Muhammad Sala llah 'alayhi wa sallam explained to us in an hadith that dreams are of two types; one from Allah and that is the good one and (the bad) one from Shaytan.
"Next time that you have a frightening dream, stand up to make ablution and observe two rak'ats voluntary prayer, seek refuge in Allah Ta'ala from the bad dream and pray the dream doesn't turn real. I assure you it won't happen in reality then return to sleep.
"If standing up is hard at that moment, change the side you slept with making sure you sleep with the right side after spitting air to the left side thrice. If sleep is still not coming due to fear say; *A'uudhubi kalmaatillãhi tãmmat min gadabihi wa 'iqãbihi,wa sharri 'ibãdihi wa min hamazaatish shayãteen wa an yahduruun*. Cast your fear aside and sleep." Miss Adegbite urges.
"Ma, are you telling me now to forget about my mother being alive." Saalihah demands adjusting her hijab.
"Well, I'll say yes but if Allah Ta'ala wills you'll meet her if she's not dead." She assures.
The Junior School Time keeper announces the end of the recess "Ad Dukhoool!"
"Jazaakumullah khayraa ma." The girls utter together as they hurry back to the class.
"I love Miss Adegbite, she advises with knowledge and wisdom. Many Allah Ta'ala increase her in both." Saalihah exclaims as she returns with her friend from the dining hall after dinner.
"Exactly, that is why I advised you to visit her." Habeebah agrees.
"I think the school should appoint her as the school's counsellor she has advised me to study medicine, therefore I'm choosing science department in the next academic session."
"I'm just thinking of meeting her for that, but I think I'll be studying nursing, so I'll be in the science department too."
"But that shouldn't stop us from doing istikhãra." Saalihah opines.
"Istikhãra,what is that?" Habeebah inquires.
They sit at the dormitory's balcony to finish their discussion before parting for their different rooms. Saalihah tries to explain it to her.
"Istikhãra is the seeking of consultation from Allah Ta'ala over any affair or step a wants to take.
"It is very important because man is created out of anxiety so we want to know how safe and successful the future is before its arrival when the knowledge of the unseen and future is with Allah Ta'ala alone as He explains in several verses of the Qur'an, not with the soothsayers nor the fortune tellers even if they call themselves Islamic scholars. Islam makes us know that they are liars and believing in them is tantamount to kufr (disbelief) because the prophet sala llah 'alayhi wa sallam says in an authentic hadith; *Anyone who visits a soothsayer and believes him has disbelieved in what is revealed to Muhammad.*
"To satisfy our human anxiousness, the prophet Sala llah 'alayhi wa sallam taught us how to consult Allah Ta'ala directly and he assured us of success if we could do that."
"And how is that done? Mind you the prophecy of these soothsayers are sometimes real even they at times tell you some of your worries before informing them. My mother visits one regularly." Habeebah worries.
"My bestie,it's true and the prophet has exposed their plots to us long ago.
"These people employ the service of the evil jinns to perpetrate the evil actions. The jinns climb upon one another till they reach the first heaven since they're huge creatures poking into the discussions of the angels, Allah Ta'ala thereby throw the stars at them making them to crash down. The little information they get is mixed up with various lies which they pass to the soothsayers as information from the unseen. It is for this reason that Rasulullah (Messenger of Allah) Sala llah 'alayhi wa sallam told us that if the soothsayers gives a piece of information. It is mixed with ninty-nine lies and one truth. Those who visit them remember the truth and forget the ninty-nine lies. Some of them even make hypothesis only but their unsuspecting followers take that as prophecy. As for their knowledge of someone's privacy that is possible because they consult the jinn that is attached to us I.e Qareen. He gives them our full details since he's with us always."
"Hmmm...Ustaadhah,how about the istikhãra."
"Let me quote the hadith as narrated in Saheeh Al Bukhari by Jãbir bn 'Abdillah Radiyallah 'anhu he said; The prophet Sala llah 'alayhi wa sallam used to teach us to seek Allah's counsel in all matters as he used to teach us a surah from the Qur'an. He would say; *Allahumma innee astakheeruka bi ’ilmika wa astaqdiruka bi qudratika wa as’aluka min fadlikal 'adheem. Fa innaka ta'lam wa laa a'lam wa taqdir wa laa aqdir wa anta 'allãmul guyuub. Allahumma in kunta ta'lam anna haadhal amra (then mention the affair) khayrun lee fee deenee wa ma'aashee wa 'aqibati amree -'aajilihi wa 'aajilihi- faqdurhu lee wa yassirhu lee thumma baarik lee feehi wa in kunta ta'lam anna hãdhal amra sharrun lee fee deenee wa ma'aashee wa 'aaqibati 'amree -'aajilihi wa ’aajilihi- fasrifhu 'anniy was rifnee 'anhu waqdur liyal khayra haythu kaana thumma ardinee bihi*."
"Saalihah,I'm not in anyway comparable to you ooo when it comes to Islamic knowledge, you memorised all these!"
"Allah Ta'ala is the owner of knowledge, He grants whomever He wishes a bit of it. Thanks to my dad he taught me and my siblings."
"That's the advantage of coming from a pious and knowledgeable home." Habeebah says as she stands to take her leave.
"Well, you may be true but my dad is not an Arabic Scholar ,he's only striving upon knowledge and the path of the pious predecessor."
"I'll try to advise my mum to stop visiting those soothsayers in shaa Allah. I pray she understands me and stops it." Habeebah decides.
"In shaa Allah she will." Saalihah prays.
"Ok As salaam Alaykum, don't dream tonight ooo." Habeebah teases.
"You aren't serious. I'll but probably about home this time. Wa Alaykum salaam." Saalihah remarks as they part.

Islamicupdatehub: The Sight of Kabah

The Sight of Kabah

One never tires of gazing at the sight of the House of Allah, the Kaa'ba. The site upon which the mercy and blessings of Allah are constantly descending. There is truly nothing comparable to the House of Allah on this Earth. People wish time would stand still so they could keep gazing at the Kaa'ba; their thirst is never quenched, rather it increases.

Once, while on a visit to Washington, people told me that a woman had accepted Islam and had some questions for me. They told me that many non-practicing Muslim women had started practicing again due to her. At prayer time she would dress in her best clothes as if readying herself for someone special, and would become oblivious to everything around her as soon she started praying.

After a brief question and answer session, I asked her what prompted her to accept Islam. She sighed and started explaining; "I was a Jew and my husband was a Christian who was posted in Saudi Arabia for some technical work. Everyday I used to see Muslim men and women dressed in white on their way somewhere. I asked my husband where they were going and he told me that they go to perform pilgrimage at the Muslim shrine of Kaa'ba. I expressed a desire to go but he told me that non-Muslims were not allowed. However, I was determined and so we both bought white clothes and set out. Fortunately no one stopped us and we reached Makkah, from where we found directions to the Kaa'ba. Upon seeing the Kaa'ba our eyes froze and time seemed to stand still. When we turned to look at each other after some time, we were both crying. With our eyes we told each other that this was the Truth and we should accept Islam. No one ever told me about Islam, but there were so many blessings descending on that House that they changed my life forever."

The blessings of Tawhid descend in Makkah, and the blessings of Prophethood descend in Madinah. One has seen nothing in life if he has not seen these two holy sites. May Allah give all Muslims the opportunity to visit to His House.

Islamicupdatehub: A World of Smile

A World of Smile

About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college, I was working as an intern at my University's Museum of Natural History. One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop, I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair.

As I looked closer at this girl, I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs, just a head, neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots.

As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents, I looked back at the girl, who was giving me the cutest, largest smile I have ever seen. All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl, whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor, unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles, love and warmth.

That was ten years ago. I'm a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world, I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.

Islamicupdatehub: The Purpose Of Life

I’m very honored to have this opportunity to address you here. And I want to say that this is not a lecture…I don’t think that I’m prepared to lecture. But it’s sort of…advice to myself. Because I see myself sitting in these chairs in front of me. Just a few days ago, few years ago, just a little while ago - I was sitting right there where you are, whatever nationality - it doesn’t matter. A human being that was not aware of Islam. And at that particular time, I was someone who did not really understand… the purpose of life!
So with that note, I would request you to think of what I’m saying to you just as information and as advice - not a lecture. The information which I wish to share with you, it may seem a bit extensive. When you consider the capacity of the human brain and the amount of information it can store and that it can decipher - then with the few pages of information today, I’m sure it will not overburden you.
It is my responsibility to address the topics of our discussion today - what is the purpose of our life? And also ask the question - “What do you know about Islam?” I mean - what do you really know about Islam? Not what you’ve heard about Islam; Not what you’ve seen as actions of some Muslims, but - what do you know about Islam?
I’m honored to have this opportunity, and I would like to begin by saying that all of you have an equal responsibility… And that responsibility is to read or listen - with an open heart and an open mind.
In a world filled with prejudice and cultural conditioning it is very hard to find people that are able to take a moment to think. To think about life objectively, to try to arrive at the truth about this world and the real purpose of our lives. Unfortunately, when you ask most people the question - “What is the purpose of our life?” which is such a fundamental and important question, they will not tell you what they have concluded through observation or analytical reasoning. In most cases, they will certainly tell you what someone else said... Or they will tell you what is commonly presumed by others. What my father said the purpose of life is, what the minister of my church said the purpose of life is, what my teacher in school said, what my friend said.
If I ask anyone about the purpose of eating, “Why do we eat?” Most people will answer, in one word or another, “It’s for nutrition!” Because nutrition sustains life… If I asked anyone why they work? They will say, because it’s necessary in order to support themselves and to provide the needs of their family. If I asked anyone why they sleep, why they wash, why they dress, etc., they will answer - “This is a common necessity for all human beings.” We can follow this line of questioning with a hundred questions, and receive the same or similar answers from anyone, in any language, in any place in the world, simple! “Why is it, that when we ask the question, ‘What is the goal and the purpose of life?’, that we get so many different answers?” That’s because people are confused, they don’t really know. They’re stumbling in the dark. And rather than saying, “I don’t know,” they just offer any answer that they’ve been programmed to answer.
Let’s think about this. Is our purpose in this world simply to eat, sleep, dress, work, acquire some material things and enjoy ourselves? Is this our purpose? Why are we born? What is the object of our existence, and what is the wisdom behind creation of man and this tremendous universe? Think about that question!
Some people argue that there is no proof of any divine origin, there is no proof that there’s a God, there’s no proof that this universe has come about through any divine purpose. There are people who believe this way - and they say that perhaps this world came about by chance. A big bang, and this whole great world with all of its orchestration just came together. And they argue that life doesn’t have any definite purpose and that there’s nothing that can be proven through either logic or science that there is a God, or purpose, or any divine reason behind this world.
Here I would like to mention a few verses from the Quran that address this subject.
“Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding, who remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the creation of the heavens and the earth, (and conclude), “Our Lord! You have not created all this without purpose, glory to You! Grant us salvation from the torment of the Fire.” [Quran 3: 190-191]

In the above verses, Allah has mentioned very clearly to us, by first drawing our attention to the creation of our own being. The different postures of the human body, the different attitudes of people. He draws our attention to the heavens. The alternation of the night and the day. The firmament, the stars, the constellations… And then He says to us that He has not created all of this for any foolish purpose! Because when you see the design of it, you know that the design of it is very powerful and very precise. And something very powerful and very precise that is beyond our own calculation and imagination - it cannot be foolish. It cannot be just thrown together.
For instance, if you took ten marbles and numbered them one to ten. And all of them were different colors. And you put them inside of a bag and you shook the bag. And then, closing your eyes, reached inside that bag and I told you, “Pull out marble number one. And then pull out marble number two. And then pull out marble number three, in order.” What’s the chance of you pulling out those marbles in order? Do you know what the chances are? Twenty six million to one! So what are the chances of the Heavens and the Earth being thrown in a big bang, and being orchestrated like they are? What’s the chance of that?
My dear respected guests- we have to ask ourselves one more question… When you see a bridge, a building, or an automobile - you automatically consider the person or the company that constructed it. When you see an airplane, a rocket, a satellite, or a large ship - you also think about how incredible a vehicle that it is. When you see a nuclear plant, an orbiting space station, an international airport equipped with everything, also if you consider other structures that exist here, in this country - you have to be thoroughly impressed with the engineering dynamics that are involved.
Yet, these are just things that are manufactured by human beings. What about the human body with its massive and intricate control system? Think about it! Think about the brain— how it thinks, how it functions, how it analyzes, stores information, retrieves information, distinguishes and categorizes information in the millionth of a second! The brain does all of it constantly. Think about a brain for a moment. This is the brain that made the automobile, the rocket ship, the boats, and the so and so. Think about the brain and who made that. Think about the heart, how it pumps continuously for sixty or seventy years – in taking and discharging blood throughout the body, and maintaining that steady precision throughout the life of that person. Think about it! Think about the kidneys - what kind of function they carry? The purifying instrument of the body, which performs hundreds of chemical analyses simultaneously and also, controls the levels of toxicity in the blood. It does this automatically. Think about your eyes - the human camera that adjusts focus, interprets, evaluates, and applies color automatically. The natural reception and adjustment to light and distance – all automatically. Think about it - who created that? Who has mastered that? Who plans that? And who regulates that? Human beings - themselves? No… of course not.
What about this universe? Think about this. The Earth is one planet in our solar system. And our solar system is one of the systems in the Milky Way. And the Milky Way is one of the constellations in that galaxy. And there are millions of galaxies like the Milky Way. Think about that. And they are all in order. They are all precise. They are not colliding with each other; they are not conflicting with each other. They are swimming along in an orbit that has been set for them. Did human beings set that into motion? And are human beings maintaining that precision? No, of course they’re not.
Think about the oceans, the fish, the insects, the birds, the plants, and bacteria, the chemical elements that have not been discovered and cannot be detected even with the most sophisticated instruments. Yet, each one of them has a law which they follow. Did all of this synchronization, balance, harmony, variation, design, maintenance, operation, and infinite numeration - did this happen by chance? And also, do these things function perpetually and perfectly also by chance? And do they keep on reproducing themselves and maintaining themselves also by chance? No, of course not.
To think so would be illogical and foolish. At the very least it would indicate that however it came to be, it is totally outside the realm of human capabilities. We would all agree to that. The being that is deserving of praise and gratitude is the almighty power - God. God created all of this, and is responsible for maintaining all of this. Therefore, God is the only one that deserves of praise and gratitude.
