OH BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ISLAM MAY ALLAH RECTIFY YOUR AFFAIRS.
WHERE IS SINCERITY IN OUR WORSHIP AND OUR LOVE FOR ALLAH AND HIS PROPHET WHEN ALL WHAT WE DO IS NOT COMMANDED BY ALLAH AND HIS PROPHET?
ARE YOU GOING TO SHUN INNOVATION NO MATTER HOW SMALL YOU VIEW IT AND STRICTLY FOLLOW QUR’AAN AND SUNNAH?!
Let look at this and read it thoroughly with sincere mind.
There are numerous verses of Qur’an where Allah commanded us to strictly follow the Prophet and turning away from what he brought and taught leads to disbelieve.
Among them are:
Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers. (Sura Aal-E-Imran, Ayah 32).
O you who have believed, obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn from him while you hear [his order].(Sura Al-Anfal, Ayah 20)
Say, "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon him is only that [duty] with which he has been charged, and upon you is that with which you have been charged. And if you obey him, you will be [rightly] guided. And there is not upon the Messenger except the [responsibility for] clear notification." (Sura An-Nur, Ayah 54)
He who obeys the Messenger (Muhammad), has indeed obeyed Allah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (O Muhammad) as a watcher over them. (Sura An-Nisa', Ayah 80).
..And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it), and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Severe in punishment. (Sura Al-Hashr, Ayah 7).
And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination. (Sura An-Nisa', Ayah 115).
And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination. (Sura An-Nisa', Ayah 115).
This is why the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: I have left you upon clarity, a clear path. Its night is like its day. No one deviates from it except that he is destroyed!
[Reported by Ahmad, Ibn Maajah (no. 43) and al-Haakim; declared 'saheeh' by al-Albaanee in as-Saheehah (no. 937)
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: "There is nothing that will take you closer to Paradise but that I have enjoined it upon you, and there is nothing that will take you closer to Hell but that I have warned you from it."
[Musnad ash-Shafi'e and others]
▪Abdullah Ibn Umar (r.a) (d. 84H) said:
"Every innovation is misguidance, even if the people see it as something good."
"Every innovation is misguidance, even if the people see it as something good."
[Related by Ad-Darimee, Abu Shamaah (no. 39), Ibn Nasr in as-Sunnah (no. 82).
▪Abdullaah ibn Mas'ood (r.a) said, "Follow and do not innovate, for you have been given that which is sufficient and every innovation is misguidance."
[Reported by Abu Khaithamah in Kitaab Ul-'Ilm (no. 540) and declared saheeh by Shaikh al-Albaanee and reported in Ahmad in Az-Zuhd p. 162, Ad-Daarimee (no. 211), Al-Bayhaqee in Madkhal (no. 204).
▪Umar ibn 'Abd Allah-'Azeez (r.h) said, "There is no excuse for anyone, after the Sunnah, to be misguided upon error which he thought was guidance."
May Allah guide us and keep us upon righteousness.
