Ibnul Muqaffa (may Allah have mercy on him) used to sit frequently in the shadow of his neighbour's wall. He came to know that the neighbour was in heavy debt and was about to sell his house to pay the debt. He said that he always enjoyed the shadow of the neighbour's wall and did not pay anything for that; so, he presented to the neighbour the price of his house and told him that, since he had received the price, he should not sell it.
