Another Super Eagles star joins Mikel in Chinese club Tiajin Teda

Super eagles striker Brown Ideye has officially joined Nigerian teammate John Mikel Obi in same Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda FC after completing his medical on Wednesday, February 22.
Reports say the former Olympiacos forward completed a two-and-a half-year contract for a transfer fee of €12 million (About N4billion). His contract, which runs until the summer of 2019, is worth €3 million per year.
The 28-year-old will find it easy in China as he will play alongside super sagles team-mate and captain John Mikel Obi and Gabon international Malick Evouna. He moved to Greece in August 2015 from English club West Bromwich Albion.
Other top Nigerian stars that ply their trade in China are Obafemi Martins, Anthony Ujah, Odion Ighalo, John Mikel Obi and super falcons star, Asisat Ohoala who plays in the Chinese Women’s Super League.
Tiajin Teda is expected to unveil Ideye in the coming days before the start of new Chinese Super League season early March.
