Jose Mourinho sets to lose his star player to China for £1million-a-week contract
Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has been reportedly set to dump the Premier League club for a mega million move to the Chinese Super League.
Rooney has earlier explained prior to the start of the current English Premier League
season that he would love to end his career at Old trafford, but he is
now being tempted by a Chinese Super League club who are ready to pay
him £1 million-a-week contract.
The 31-year-old striker who has
beaten Sir Bobby Charlton's goal record at Manchester United was said to
be considering a move to China in search of a first team football.
Should
the former Everton forward accept the offer from the Chinese Super
League club, then Wayne Rooney will be the highest paid footballer in
the world.
