Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas opened scoring for the hosts in the 19th minutes after Pedro Rodriguez directed a ball squarely in the box, and the Spaniard wasted no time to give the Blues the lead.
But before the break, the visitors struck back through a powerful header from Fernamdo Llorente in the 45th minutes.
